Are you looking for a place in Palma de Mallorca to enjoy a refreshing drink with a stunning view? There are some great rooftop bars and terraces in the capital of Mallorca, overlooking the bay of Palma, the old town with its cathedral or the mountains with its stunning Castell de Bellver. Some of them are quite fancy and others are more casual. We have just started to discover, them but I am sure our list will get longer.
Nevertheless, here are our top 4 favorite rooftop bars in Palma.
The rooftop bar of the stylish Nakar Hotel is centrally located in the Avenidas Jaume III, but is still a well-kept secret. The terrace has a small infinity pool and in the summer months DJs are playing chilled beats. Don’t miss the sunset and watch the sky turning purple above the famous La Seu Cathedral. If that doesn't sound like the perfect Instagram location... ;) The terrace opens daily from 19:30 to 01:00 at night.

Es Baluard Bar & Restaurant is part of the Museum of Contemporary Arts and is located on top of the city wall between the Cathedral and the Santa Catalina quarter. This terrace is the perfect place to sip on refreshing cocktails on warm summer nights and enjoy the view over the bay of Palma with its harbour. For the best view, you can even sit on the city wall and getting drinks served there. Here you can reserve online.
49 Steps Bar & Grill is located in the heart of the port of Palma Marina Moll Vell, on a wooden platform with stunning views of the sea and harbor. The relaxed atmosphere is perfect for an afternoon drink with friends or an after-work beer with colleagues. Here you can reserve online.

The roof terrace of the Brick Hotel Palma is a hidden gem of Mallorcas capital. What makes this bar so special is the casual atmosphere and the mix of international backpackers and locals. The hostel also organizes different events depending on the day of the week and the season, for example DJ nights on Tuesdays.
